Developed together with fishers
AMarin AS works closely with fishers and suppliers in Norway, Canada and the USA/Alaska. Our pots have been used continuously for several years on large ocean-going vessels, and are neither worn out nor broken. A Nofima report documents significantly better catch and less damage to the crab compared with competing designs.
Feedback from the fishers is taken into the further development, so that the fishing equipment is adapted to real conditions at sea. We supply both individually and in bulk, to recreational fishers and professional vessels.
